The $30,000 Candlepin Challenge is a one hour program to be aired on Cn8 The Comcast Network, channel 3 in most areas. The  show will air on Saturday’s at 11:00am.

 

The show will remain a King of the Hill format, with two challengers bowling a one game match with the loser receiving $150.00.  The winner moves on to a two game match against the current champion.  Weekly champions will be decided by highest two game total, the loser of this match will receive $200.00.  Champions will receive $300.00 and remain in their position until they are defeated. Once a bowler appears on the show they must sit out one taping session. Points will no longer be awarded for strikes and spares, advancement to the finals will be based on total pinfall.

A triple strike pool of $1000.00 for the season will be split amongst any and all bowlers who hit a triple strike. If the pool is not hit it will carry over to the next season.

 

The final show:  The format will remain the same as the other 36 weeks except for the prize fund. The loser of the challenger match will receive $1,000, the championship match runner up will receive $2,500, with the winner getting $5,000
